I had the concept to introduce to the concept to the world that tattooing had totally influenced creative people of the greatest
skills on virtually every level of creative output. We began a series of articles on visual artists musical
performers as well as political/historical figures who had been influenced by or represented in tattooing as an art form.The first time in History a major black historical figure shows up in a accurate article tattoo magazine.

It was decided we needed a mascot for the magazine and we Dubbed him "Axel Advocat." Axel was a smart ass
